Session 2 (6:00 - 7:00pm)
What's New at American Color Imaging
We are going to highlight all the new and cool items ACI is currently offering. We will show you ways to offer the products in your studio, how to use them as sales tools or just produce them as add-on sales and marketing products. We will also send you home with a great new product booklet.
Session 3 (7:15 - 8:00pm)
Monitor Calibration and Workflow
Learn how to calibrate and call your own color as well as run a successful open loop system in your studio. Rick is one of the true masters when it comes to digital workflow and color management. Once you see how simple it is, you'll want to get started right away. Rick will also show you the newest calibration products on the market today and how to utilize them in your studio.
Session 4 (8:00 - 9:00pm)
Lighting Demonstration / Working in RAW
Rick will take you through different lighting examples and show how to expose properly as well as getting it right in the camera. He will show you the in's and out's of digital capture using RAW as well as a couple of tricks dealing with the processing of files. Topics that Rick will discuss include basic lighting patterns, proper metering and exposure, using Adobe Camera RAW, and the latest lighting equipment.
Session 5 (9:15 - 10:30pm)
Dealing with Color in Photoshop
Learn really cool techniques on how to deal with color inside the Photoshop application. Rick will take you through doing color by the numbers, isolating colors and changing them, different ways to deal with black and white as well as use as many color tools that time allows. Topics he will cover include B&W conversions, curves/levels, hue & saturation, replace color, variations, photo filters, and more.
